Business Plus do a series of very well respected surveys throughout the year that you can find on their website. They look in detail at the trends in each sector and what the following year will hold for Irish companies.

We believe the IT sector is vital to the future success of Ireland's economy and have been stressing the importance of ensuring the workforce are trained in the skills needed by the myriad of IT companies that are located here. Again and again we are seeing a worrying trend that international IT companies are finding it difficult to find suitably trained staff, with result that that are having to hire from abroad. This is a trend we are experience first hand and means that Ireland is literally throwing jobs away.
