Technology Leadership role acting as a Telecoms Principal Architect developing the architectural strategy for our clients most significant customer

Description of the Role

 

Our client requires a Telecoms Principal Architect to work with one of their most significant customers to further develop the technology and services strategy (IP Telephony, Network, Contact Centre and customer operations) of the customer. They will work with representatives from the client organisation and other partners of this client to ensure an overall integrated architecture is created, enhanced and maintained

 

Responsibilities of the role

·         Lead the architecture and technical design services into this key account

·         Establish a trust based relationship with key stakeholders – both customer and internal

·         Understand the customer’s business needs, opportunities and challenges and how our client can provide technology based Solutions to address them,

·         Lead the facilitation of requirements analysis, scope definition & verification in order to ensure that customer requirements for design are captured swiftly efficiently and comprehensively

·         Work closely with the Account Director, Contract Director and Project Director to ensure that business opportunities are properly developed and  can be delivered profitably and to the requisite quality standards

Qualifications

Excellent leadership qualities and customer service excellence are essential attributes for this role. Of particular interest are candidates who might

·         Consider themselves a thought leader in the development of contact centre strategies or the use of technology to drive customer experience improvement programmes for large organisations

or

·         Have previously served as a CTO for a large enterprise particularly but not exclusively within the financial services industry

or

·         Have served as a customer facing senior network and voice technology architect developing telephony, IVR, CTI, Dialer, Unified communications, WAN and LAN solutions based on Avaya, Genesys ICM, and Cisco Network platforms

or

·         Have served as a business solutions architect or advisor to the financial services industry, having primed or overseen the technology services components of such solutions.

           

Ideal Candidate will demonstrate:

 

·         Strong leadership and influencing skills

·         Advanced Ability to ensure quality. governance & other standards can be applied rigorously and improved,

·         Aptitude, passion and background in senior level relationship building. Ability to manage customer expectations and to challenge reasonably and professionally when appropriate

·         Innate ability to determine and articulate how technology can be selected , exploited and applied to deliver solutions to complex business needs

·         Knowledge and interest  in next generation ICT, Convergence, Datacentre Consolidation, Cloud adoption and Outsourcing industry trends

·         A background using design methodologies to ensure requirements and fully understood and agreed. Including design review and sign-off procedure
